He determined that this assignment could be done through the introduction of a innovative, independent association and thus was born the N.L. Dalmia Educational Society in April 1982.
Today, it has increased manifold and evolved into 3 reputed centers of excellence-N.L. Dalmia High School, N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research and N.L. Dalmia College of Arts, Commerce & Science N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies & Research is connected to the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE and Government of Maharashtra. The Institute is NAAC’A Licensed by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council. The Institute is ISO 9001:2015. In addition, it enjoys the premier college status by ASIC(Accreditation Services for the International Colleges), UK. The institute can be ranked A”** in the country level and A”* at the federal level by CRISIL (2018-2019).
The institute has the best state-of-the-art infrastructure that offers a conducive environment for learning. NLDIMSR is Mumbai’s first Institute to have a 12-Terminal Bloomberg Lab. It’s an entire CISCO WIFI empowered Campus and also a digitized library.
To fortify the international outlook and collaborations, the Institute has academic tie-ups in the area of collaborative research projects with national and global Institutions of excellence. To name a couple of NLDIMSR has Academic tie ups in the Region of Students Exchange and Collaborative Research with prestigious Wiliams College of Business-Xavier’s University. Cincin-nati, Ohio, United States. Additionally, the University of Wisconsin, Parkside-United
States and NLDIMSR have signed a Mol to collaborate for a one plus one MBA program in Global Management Education. This cooperation also eases joint research projects and faculty & student exchange. In addition, the institute has been regularly encouraging faculties from renowned foreign universities. The institute also has a cooperation with Virginia Tech, USA, SAS, for techno-managerial courses are the requirement of the dynamic situation of the times.
The institute has recently collaborated with Harvard Business School Online for Multiple Certificate Programs. NLDIMSR has participated with several other foreign Universities before. The institute has collaborated for Proj ect based Student Exchange Program with Xavier University USA previously. The institute’s endeavour is to supply a mutually stimulating ambience that’s both welcoming and hard with a commitment to provide opportunities to the students that expose them to world problems and perspectives.
